METRO BLUE LINE WILLOW STATION  |  This bike-transit HUB provides commuters with places to park cars and bikes and accessibility to multiple modes of transportation including vehicle-sharing; bus service and light rail transit at the Metro Blue Line Willow transit station.

The facility serves the Wrigley Marketplace shopping center and Jackie Robinson Elementary School. Adjacent is Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Pacific Hospital and Veterans’ Memorial Park that draw many people to this bustling area.

To date, completed improvements by the City to encourage people to ride their bikes to the transit include nearly 3 miles of bike routes, signs, and loop detectors accessing Metro and Long Beach Transit customers.

Metro, Los Angeles County’s light-rail transit system, runs from 7th Street in Downtown L.A. to downtown Long Beach. Bicycles are allowed on Metro Rail and bicycle racks are available first-come, first-served at Metro and Long Beach Transit bus stops. The station also offers cyclists 8 bike rack spaces and 14 bike lockers.

Long Beach Transit buses are equipped with fast loading, state-of-the-art bike racks for assisting riders with transporting their vehicles across town.
