KIDICAL MASS  Kidical Mass is a legal, safe and FUN bike ride for kids, kids at heart, and their families led by BKBIA staff and winds through the neighborhood following all of the rules of the road.  Prior to the start there is a safety demonstration going over basic rules that pertain to biking on the streets. The ride heads out into the neighborhood for 4 to 4.5 miles and returns to Georgie’s Place where riders are treated to complimentary ice cream.

PEDAL MOVEMENT  |  Pedal Movement is a local Long Beach cycling organization.  They organize weekly rides (Sandy Sundays) and tune up events (Tune up Tuesdays).  Please check their website for details.

LONG BEACH PEDALER SOCIETY  |  Pedaler Society offers a public taxi service capable of picking up and dropping off at your home, a restaurant or bar, or an inconveniently far parking space.  Pedaler Society also has a private services division that caters to corporate events, weddings, private parties, store grand openings, et cetera.

BIKE SHOPS + RENTALS | Bike Long Beach offers an interactive listing of local shops where you can find bike rentals and professional services for bike repairs. New businesses are welcome to join the listing. 

LIGHTENING VELO  |  A recreational and racing cycling club. The group currently has over 150 members with diverse interests in every aspect of cycling.

VELO ALLEGRO   |  A recognized club of the U.S. Cycling Federation. The Club has strong USCF membership (70+ per year) that is made of junior, men and women racers of all USCF categories. The Club attracts many beginning and recreational cyclists looking for scenic rides in Southern California.

BEACH CITIES CYCLING CLUB  |  The members of the Beach Cities Cycling Club of Southern California ride out of the South Bay Area for fun and fitness to support numerous charitable organizations. Beach Cities Cycling Club, a Road Riding club based in Redondo Beach welcomes new members from The South Bay and beyond.

DIFFERENT SPOKES  |  Different Spokes was founded in 1983 to promote cycling activities among members and friends of the gay and lesbian communities in Southern California. The group offers a wide variety of road and mountain bike rides, ranging from easy to advanced, throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

LOS ANGELES WHEELMEN  |  The LA Wheelmen is a group of bicyclists who enjoy the pleasure of riding with friends. The group is not a racing club and it welcomes members of all abilities. The group offers rides for beginners as well as more experienced riders.

PALOS VERDES BICYCLE CLUB  |  The Palos Verdes Bike Club is a recreational bike club that has been together for over 35 years. All regular rides are Sunday morning breakfast rides and depart at 7:30 a.m. from the fountain in Malaga Cove Plaza, Palos Verdes Estates.  Guests and visitors are welcome.

PENINSULA CYCLING CLUB  |  Since 1992, Peninsula Cycle Club has supported the needs of local bicyclists throughout the South Bay. The group hosts weekly rides of various levels. 

SOUTHBAY CRUISERS  |    Founded in January 2007, the Southbay Cruisers host social bicycle rides and bicycling events in the beach cities of Los Angeles including Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, Torrance, and Manhattan Beach.  The Southbay Cruisers are made up primarily of a group of recreational bicycle riders and bicycle commuters

SOUTHBAY MOUNTAIN BIKING CLUB  South Bay Mountain Biking Club is a recreational mountain biking club serving the Los Angeles area. Regular rides in the Santa Monica, San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains and the Angeles and Cleveland National Forests.

SOUTHBAY WHEELMEN  |  Founded in 1961 by local legend Ted Ernst, the South Bay Wheelmen Cycling Team promotes cycling through training, competition and social activities.

BIKE SATURDAYS PROGRAM  |  Save money, have fun, and support local businesses! Ride your bike to participating local shops and eateries in Long Beach on Saturdays to receive a special discount or offer. Just stop by at any time on Saturday and ask about their special Bike Saturdays deals for bicyclists.

BUILDING HEALTHY COMMUNITIES  | A collaborative to reduce health disparities and improve community health overall through systemic changes fueled by adult and youth resident engagement, collaboration and resource sharing, and strategic communication about community needs and solutions.
